It’ll help to improve your life and outlook, by sharing experiences and knowledge, learning coping strategies, and engaging with the local community for the improvement of your inclusion.
When: 3rd Tuesday of the month at 6.30pm (next one is April 18th), til 8pm.
Where: Solar Sisters, 86 North Street, Guildford, GU1 4AU
The evening will be split into 2 parts:
Part 1 will be dedicated to exploring a set topic together.
10 min break
Part 2 will be an informal discussion space.
These sessions are free to attend, but to help Solar Sisters be able to continue hosting, we kindly ask that you purchase a drink and avoid bringing outside food (unless you have specific dietary needs).
Phillip only discovered that he had an autism spectrum condition in middle-age, and has spent the last nine years catching up on all the little and big things that make life different and difficult. He receives autism coaching in one-to-one sessions, and has a strong ethos of paying-it-forward to help others. His work history is varied, but mostly technical, with very good computer skills, and a large stock of experience and knowledge. Now working part-time, he’s offering a helping hand as a Talented Amateur By Experience, not being willing to claim that he is an Expert.
Nina is one of the Solar Sisters and very keen top help support Phillip in his quest to provide a social support group for the neurodiverse. Nina will be the vibe monitor at the events, making sure the environment is pleasant for all those attending, as well as keeping track of the time and making sure things run smoothly.
