Join us for an evening of clay crafting with potter Ysanne Brooks. In each class you’ll discover a different hand-building technique, including pinching, coiling and slab-building. Your finished piece will be ready to pick up and take home after it has been fired and glazed in Ysanne's home studio.

About the event
POTTERY AT SOLAR SISTERS Join us for a fun evening of clay crafting with potter Ysanne Brooks. In each class you’ll discover a different hand-building technique, including pinching, coiling and slab-building. Your finished piece will be ready to pick up and take home after it has been fired and glazed in Ysanne's home studio. We’ll supply all the materials and tools you'll need to craft your own clay creation in the two hour class but please bring an apron to keep your clothes clean.
Class 1: Learning pinch pot techniques to make trinket dishes/salt and pepper bowls
Class 2: Discovering how to coil and join clay to make a decorative bud vase
Class 3: Slab building techniques including tiles and mini houses.
