About the event
Whether you are a brand new parent with a newborn or you’ve been around the parenting block a few times, this parenting group welcomes everyone, and aims to bring a supportive group together. Parenting can be quite isolating and frustrating if we try to do it alone. A whole host of benefits can come from joining a supportive group: meet new people, leave your kids at home -have a break and perhaps discover new parenting approaches. It also encourages us to get reading more!
Lead by mother of two, Lucy, who’s passionate about developmental psychology and is very excited to get the club moving. Lucy will select specific areas of the book to discuss and lead the group into discussions on each topic.
The first book will be “The Danish Way of Parenting” by Jessica Joelle Alexander and Iben Dissing Sandahl. If you do not want to buy a copy and would like to borrow one, get in touch with Lucy at solarsistersuk@gmail.com to arrange picking one up from the shop.
We will meet every third Sunday of the month at 10-11am starting the 25th of June!
