About the event

Our Green Talks continue to provide opportunities to learn about environmental matters from a wide range of talented, passionate and inspiring guests.

Hope to see you at the next Green Talk on 28 March at 6.30PM when we'll hear from Louis Harrington-Edmans, an insect expert from BugLife, and make seed balls for pollinators to take home.

This talk will focus on Buglife’s B-Lines; the world’s largest and  most joined up habitat connectivity project. Formed of wildflower-rich  insect superhighways, B-Lines aims to create a world where our  pollinators are able to move freely throughout our countryside. As part  of the wider Space4Nature project Louis will be working to join up  Surrey’s B-Lines, connecting it with the rest of the UK B-Lines network.  To achieve this Louis will be working to empower local communities,  landowners and businesses to act for pollinators. Find out how creating  wildflower meadows is helping our struggling pollinators move through  the British Isles.

After Louis' talk, there will be a seed ball workshop. Walk away with your very own seed balls to disperse, helping you act for pollinators!

Refreshments will be available. Although we do not charge for Green Talks, we do suggest a £5-£10 donation to help us to be able to conitnue to put on these environmentally themed community events :)
